1. Shopping


Lake of the Ozarks is a shoppers paradise. From a major outlet mall with name brand designer stores and small, unique boutiques, the Lake area has it all. With over 50 stores within a 50 miles radius and dozens of antique shops and flea markets, it's no wonder why some people come to the Lake area strictly to shop. 

2. Hunting


The lake is home to a variety of different game for hunters including deer, turkey, squirrel, rabbit, dove, duck, geese and quail. However, the two most popular species for hunters visiting the Lake are deer and turkey. 

3. Hiking


The Lake of the Ozarks is the perfect place to spend time outdoors in the fall with 12 hiking trails at Ha Ha Tonka State Park and 11 trails at Lake of the Ozarks State Park. Trails vary from paved walkways to rocky trails, so no matter what kind of walk you are in the mood for there is something for everything. 


4. Pumpkin Picking


If you are looking for a more traditional fall activity, there are several different pumpkin patches around the Lake area for your family to visit this season. MECCA Family Farms, The Cave Pumpkin Patch and The Pumpkin Patch at Hy-Vee.

The weather is starting to cool down and the leaves are beginning to change, which makes Autumn the perfect time to golf at the Lake of the Ozarks. The Lake area is home to over a dozen golf courses, some of which are designed by professional golfers. No matter how experienced of a golfer you are, you are sure to have a fun time golfing at the Lake.
