Advantages To Staying at a Vacation Rental

Do you have an upcoming trip to the Lake of the Ozarks? Have you thought about staying in a rental home? There are many benefits to staying in a vacation home versus staying in a hotel. Keys to the Lake offers some benefits that you may not have thought about when you stay in a vacation home at the Lake of the Ozarks.

More Room to Stay

When you stay at a vacation rental you get more square footage for your money. An average hotel room is often 400 square foot while a vacation rental is the size of a house, which can average 2,000 square foot. Because you have more space you can sleep more people, which make it perfect for family reunions.

Save Money On Food

While on vacation, you often spend a lot of money at restaurants. This is especially the case when staying in a hotel room as you do not have a place to prepare meals. When you stay at a vacation rental, you have your own kitchen, which means you can save money by not going out to eat for every meal.

No Over Packing

Many vacation homes are equipped with a washer and dryer, which means you can save some space in your luggage by doing your laundry while on vacation. You’ll appreciate this when staying at the Lake of the Ozarks for a week or two. Having a laundry area while on vacation at the Lake is also helpful to make sure your towels are dry for your next day on the water.

No Hidden Fees

Many of our vacation rental properties have TVs, DVD players, and cable at no extra cost. While we know most of your vacation will be spent outside enjoying the beautiful Lake of the Ozarks and all it has to offer, you can always come home and unwind with a movie night.

Boat/Swim Dock

Some vacation homes at the Lake of the Ozarks have docks and slips for your boat or PWC. Some of our properties even have a place to swim in the lake. If you plan on bringing your watercraft to the Lake of the Ozarks, make sure you reserve a dock with your vacation home. Keep in mind that there are many watercraft rental locations at the Lake of the Ozarks that rent by the day and by the hour.

Pick The Home That’s Right for You

When you stay at a vacation rental, you can pick the home that is perfect for what you need. If you stay in a hotel room, you are stuck with their layout and location. When staying in a rental property, you know exactly what you are getting. Plus, many of our homes are dog friendly, so you do not have to leave your furry friend behind.

Stay at The Lake of the Ozarks with Keys to the Lake

When planning your next trip, make sure you stay at the best vacation rental property at the Lake of the Ozarks.
