Shootout Festivities


There are events all week long leading up to the races, including poker runs, mini shootouts, a treasure hunt and more! 

Annual Mini Shootout - August 19 - 21 - Ha Ha Tonka Springs Cove 

Watch radio controlled powerboat replicas compete for the Mini Top Gun title. 

Lil' Boat & Pontoon Shootout Poker Run - August 19 - Multiple Venues

The shootouts first ever poker run with dual starting points. Participants will start at either Captain Ron's Bar & Grill or Franky & Louie's and finish at a point in the middle. 

The Great Shootout Treasure Hunt - August 22 - Captain Ron's Bar & Grill

Go on a treasure hunt and find hidden treasure at Captain Ron's Car & Grill. There will be a social hour, treasure hunt and plenty of prizes! Tickets are available at Captain Ron's, Cannon Smoked Saloon and Kids Harbor. All proceeds benefit Kids Harbor. 

Shootout Auction - August 25 - Performance Boat Center

Live auction to raise money for local charities, including several Lake area fire-rescue teams. 

Shootout Poker Run - August 26 - Multiple Waterfront Venues

The poker run will start at Franky & Louie's and visit multiple different stops before ending at Captain Ron's Bar & Grill.

Lake of the Ozarks Shootout


When: August 27 - 29

Where: Captain Ron's Bar & Grill and 33 - 34.5MM

The shootout brings many different powerboat racers from across the country to the Lake of the Ozarks. The Lake of the Ozarks Shootout is held at Captain Ron's Bar & Grill and the 33 - 34.5 MM. With over 100 racers and 100,000 spectators, you will not want to miss this event! Proceeds from the event will benefit the Lake Area Rescue Teams, as well as many other charitable organizations. 

Midwest Wine & Brew Festival


When: August 20

Where: The Lodge of Four Seasons

Try samples from wineries and breweries from across Missouri at the Midwest Wine & Brew Festival. There will also be vendors and restaurants from the Lake Ozark area and live entertainment throughout the event. For more information on the event, call 573-964-1008.

Labor Day Fireworks Fun Fest


When: September 2

Where: Old Kinderhook

Start Labor Day Weekend off with a free family fun event. There will be live music, bounce houses, face painting, Games and more! End the day with a beautiful fireworks display.

Lake of the Ozarks Air Show


When: September 10

Where: Camdenton Memorial Lake Regional Airport

The event features multiple air show acts, vendor booths, a ping pong drop and other fun kid activities. 

16th Annual Fall Festival


When: September 10

Where: Osage Beach City Park

The Fall Festival is fun for the whole family and includes many free activities for kids, such as a petting zoo, bounce houses, Bow Wow contest, fishing and pellet shoot and more! There will also be great food and live entertainment.

PWC Ride For Freedom


When: September 11

Where: Surdyke's Port 20

Join Surdyke Yamaha in remembering those who sacrifice their lives for our freedom with the PWC Ride For Freedom. Riders will hop on their PWC and take off from Surdyke's Port 20 to Truman Dam and back. This free community-wide event will begin at 7:30 a.m. with a continental breakfast and end with a dinner at Surdyke's Port 20 upon return. Preregistration at www.SurdykeYamaha.com is required.
